What is the difference between anxiety and anxiety disorders?
by: Kell

Hi Kerry,

That is a great question. If you think about it anxiety is a normal part of life...something would be wrong if we weren't feel some level of anxiety involving some everyday challenges. What I am trying to say is that some level of anxiety is appropriate and reasonable.

However, anxiety disorders are distinguished from everyday anxiety in a number of ways.

Firstly the anxiety is anxiety disorders such as anxiety attacks or anxiety attacks symptoms are intense.

Secondly, some anxiety disorders last longer than normal anxiety...well after the stressful event has gone e.g. generalized anxiety disorder.

Thirdly some anxiety can be a result of phobias that interferen with your life. Here is a list of the 10 most common phobias.

Psychologists and psychiatrists use the DSM-IV manual to diagnose anxiety disorders.

Roughly 15% of the US population experiences symptoms that would classify them into one of the anxiety disorders.

Anxiety disorder are treated effectively but for advice on treatment options for anxiety disorders please see your doctor.

All the best,
Kell

As it is said that actions speaks louder than words. So we should take students in practical life so that they will better be able to write my essay online and understand the problems of practical life and then they will actually become educated.
