Sleep is relaxing but not a relaxation technique

Hi Caroline,

Thanks for your comment. Sleep is relaxing but it is not a relaxation technique. In many studies that have looked at people when sleeping they have found that their blood pressure, heart rate, and muscle tension can increase in their dream state.

What we do know is that by having adequate skills for coping with stress we are able to get a better night's sleep.
