Natural sleep aids that I have found helpful

Here are a few natural sleep aids that I have found helpful.

1. Dim the lights and set the atmosphere for sleep

2. Your body needs to be prepared for relaxation

3. What color is your bedroom? You need to have colors that suit your mood for relaxation.

4. A small exercise program may be begun. Something as simple as a walk before bedtime or as involved as a gym membership will work. Exercise helps.

5. Learn relaxation techniques to free your mind of worry. Music or meditation will do this for some people

6. Warm drinks, such as herbal teas, can promote the relaxation you need for sleep

7. Some herbs will help bring sleep a bit closer.
