Why do I constantly feel worried about my assignments.. to the point that makes me hate studying and going to school.

Hi Reeta,

Thanks for your email. There could be many reasons why you are constantly worried about your assignments and so advice needs to target those reasons.

For example, I work as a lecturer at university and one of the common causes of stress that I see is that students procrastinate on what they have to do. Leaving it to the last moment results in huge amounts of pressure and stress for them. If this is the case then I would consider student time management.

But also being aware of your sign of stress and then putting into place stress management techniques is likely to be very helpful in reducing your worry about assignments.

I just wrote about some ideas for self help for anxiety that may be useful for you.

Hopefully good time management and stress management will enable you to enjoy school and worry less about your assignments.
